Description :
Plan and implements Parish wide programs
in Faith Formation and Sacramental
Preparation, includes but not limited to:
Youth faith formation programs, Sunday
School, Preparation for First Eucharist and
Reconciliation, Confirmation, Children’s
Liturgy of the Word, Pre-School Religion
Classes and Vacation Bible School.
Work with the Pastor and Faith
Formation committee for adult faith
formation programs and initiatives,
preparation for Baptism, Marriage,
and OCIA (formerly RCIA Program).
Coordinates when needed with St.
Jerome School religious education
programs.
Oversee and maintain program and
records per Archdiocesan requirements
for the PCYI (Protection of our Children
and Youth Initiative) program, including
vulnerable adults through E3 (Essential 3)
requirements: Background Check, Code of
Conduct, and Safe Environment Training
(Virtus Training).
This is a HYBRID, part-time position.
Must be an active Catholic
in good standing with the
Church teachings
Some experience in
Catholic Education
Conversational
Spanish preferred
Possess enthusiasm
and self-motivation
Ability to remain calm
and controlled in a
chaotic situation
Possess
organizational skills
Be open to observations,
supervision and resulting
feedback
