The Director of Lasallian Ministries provides visionary leadership for the religious, spiritual, and service life of the Mullen High School community. This full-time, 12-month year round position reports to the Principal and works in close collaboration with the leadership team. The Director is responsible for deepening and sustaining the Lasallian Catholic identity of the school, forming students and faculty in the Lasallian charism, and cultivating a vibrant culture of faith, community, and service rooted in the tradition of Saint John Baptist de La Salle. Mullen High School does not

Essential Job Functions
Catholic and Lasallian Identity & Mission
● Serve as the primary steward and advocate of the school’s Lasallian Catholic mission and charism
● Lead the school community in understanding and living the five core principles of the Lasallian mission: faith, service, community, concern for the poor, and quality education
● Collaborate with the President and De La Salle Brothers to ensure the school’s programs and culture reflect its Lasallian identity
● Coordinate and lead participation in regional and national Lasallian networks, including the Lasallian Association of United States Pilots (LAPSI), the Midwest District, and NCEA Lasallian initiatives
● Represent Mullen at District gatherings, Lasallian formation events, and inter-school ministry collaborations
Campus Ministry & Spiritual Formation
● Oversee and direct all aspects of the program, including liturgy, retreats, sacramental preparation, and faith formation
● Design and implement a comprehensive, four-year spiritual formation program for students that deepens faith and identity across all grade levels
● Lead, plan, and coordinate school-wide Masses, prayer services, Advent and Lenten programs, and other liturgical celebrations
● Collaborate and support Retreat Director for retreat program at each grade level, including Kairos, sophomore and freshman retreats, and faculty retreats
● Provide pastoral care and spiritual accompaniment to students, faculty, and staff
Faculty & Staff Formation
● Lead and coordinate ongoing Lasallian formation for all faculty and staff, including new employee orientation, annual retreats, and Buttimer Institute participation
● Foster a faculty culture of shared mission and collaborative ministry
● Identify and mentor emerging mission leaders among faculty and staff
Leadership & Administration
● Supervise the Liturgy team, including assistant ministers and student ministry leaders
● Manage the Lasallian Ministries departmental budget with stewardship and accountability
● Collaborate with the Admissions and Communications teams to authentically represent the school’s mission to prospective families
● Serve on the President’s leadership team and contribute to strategic planning related to mission and identity
