Wage Rate: $22.00/hour
Qualifications:
1. Sincere love and respect for older adults;
2. Genuine appreciation for the uniqueness of each person;
3. An enthusiastic and energetic approach that is successful in motivating seniors to engage
actively in life enrichment activities and pursuits;
4. Prior work experience with seniors in a not-for profit and/or health care-related
environment is preferred;
5. Dependability for attendance, with flexibility of hours to meet the department’s goals;
6. Willingness to commit to a creative and individualized life enrichment approach in the
provision and support of meaningful leisure pursuits for the Home’s residents;
7. Basic computer and technology skills;
8. A current driver’s license and safe driving record are required;

Position Summary/Objective:
The Life Enrichment Coordinator for St. Joseph’s Residence, operated by the Little Sisters of the
Poor, is passionate about enriching lives of older adults through person-centered engagement and
life-affirming activity programming. This person, in collaboration with the department director,
shares leadership in the planning, coordination, and implementation of a wide and varied scope
of age-appropriate and individualized leisure pursuits for the Home’s residents. Life enrichment
programs are designed to meet core person-directed values of choice, dignity, respect, and
purposeful living within a Christian atmosphere. Physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs
unique to each resident are identified and met within the spirit of the mission, vision and values
of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
